With a Snip Snip Here and a Snip Snip There...

Do you have some kiddos at home, or in your classroom perhaps, that claim they do not like cutting but need the fine motor skill practice? Well, I too have had this issue and the solution I have found is....

A CUTTING POOL!!!

We place scrapbooking scissors into a carrying tote, place odds and ends of a variety of paper into a shallow 'kiddie' pool, and presto! No more complaints! Plus, as an added bonus, my complaining cutters are more than happy to practice cutting away while seated in the cutting pool! YAY!!!

And The List Goes On....And The List Goes On...

Great news everyone! I am down to my last hat for the kiddos in my classroom. It is a really pretty bluish-teal one. I am so thrilled that I am almost done as I am certian they will be ready for our holiday party on the 22nd! Now, I just have a Hawkeye Pillow (for my soon to be nephew?), a purse (for my Mom) that is mostly finished..., two hats to be sent to little cousins in California, and an order for three hats to finish and get to where they need to be before Christmas. Phew! I should not have written that down. For some reason the list seemed shorter in my head! Anyway, pictures of the above items to follow soon.
